What should I do now?

  • Stay at home first. Go outside only if necessary (danger, emergency, helping others).

Note: Sensitive devices (z. B. Router, TV, PC) should be unplugged if possible, to reduce damage from voltage fluctuations when power returns.

Offer help / report special needs IMPORTANT

In a prolonged power outage, help from the community becomes important. Please report to a reporting point (town hall / fire stations) if one of the following applies to you:

  • Can you provide medical help? (e.g., nursing, first-aid training) and you are not already assigned to emergency services/civil protection: please register at a reporting point.
  • Home care / life-support devices: If someone in your household depends on electrically powered medical devices (e.g., ventilator, suction, syringe pumps): please report immediately at a reporting point.

If possible, have brief details ready (name, address, how to reach you, type of help/device).
